Communication is a vital part of our society. Speech therapy is a fun learning experience that helps children develop skills to become confident and successful communicators.

We believe in Parental Involvement.

Each child’s success is strongly dependent upon the involvement of his or her parents. Therapy does not stop when the child leaves the clinic, but must be carried through to the home environment. Our therapists specialize in working with parents and caregivers to ensure home programs are in place tomake each child’s progress the best it can be.
Oral Facial Myofunctional Disorders (OMD):
Articulation Disorders:
Commonly referred to as tongue thrust. OMD therapy focuses on the elimination of thumb and finger sucking and tongue thrust swallow behavior. Thumb sucking beyond age 4 is a habit. These children have difficulties with tongue and oral muscle movement, speech, swallowing, chewing, and crowded bite or lip closure due to changes caused by prolonged thumb sucking and a tongue thrust swallow.
Difficulties with the way sounds are formed and put together usually characterized by substituting one sound for another
(tar for car), omitting a
sound (du for duck),
or distorting a sound
(yawn for one).
